About Zyntax Arc

Closing Australia's site intelligence gap

We build the screening layer that sits before every major data centre and battery storage siting decision in the National Electricity Market. Where to build, where to connect, how to comply.

Our mission

To make the same site rigour the specialist consultants use accessible to every team building Australia's energy future, not just those who can afford a six-figure engagement. We turn fragmented public data into fast, defensible site screening.

Our vision

A National Electricity Market where every major siting call, from a hyperscale data centre to a battery storage site, starts with the same depth of evidence in minutes. Better shortlists, made faster, accelerate the transition.

The gap we're solving

Australia has the data. It doesn't have the intelligence.

Australia publishes some of the richest energy and geospatial data in the world. AEMO, the Clean Energy Regulator and Geoscience Australia release market signals, generation data and terrain detail that should make siting decisions obvious.

In practice, that data is scattered across incompatible formats, refreshes on different cycles, and demands specialist interpretation. So the most consequential calls, where to put a hundred megawatt load, which connection point to chase, whether a site can ever be compliant, are still made on stale spreadsheets and gut feel.

Zyntax Arc is the missing intelligence layer. We continuously ingest the public record and turn it into ranked, explainable answers, purpose-built for the Australian energy transition.

How it works

Nine layers of intelligence on every site

DC Intelligence screens each candidate data centre site across nine independent layers, then synthesises them into a defensible shortlist position and a board-ready PDF report. BESS Intelligence runs the equivalent nine-layer screening for battery storage sites.

01

NABERS gap assessment

A preliminary read on how a site tracks against NABERS for data centres, including the July 2026 expectations.

02

Government alignment

Scoring against the March 2026 government expectations framework so policy risk surfaces early.

03

Energy economics

Negative-price hours, spot cost exposure and a five-year PPA projection for the connection point.

04

MLF analysis

Marginal Loss Factors drawn from the latest AEMO tables, applied to each candidate node.

05

Curtailment intelligence

Where and how often output is at risk of being curtailed, and what it means for firm supply.

06

Water availability

Groundwater and surface water context from BOM Water Data Online plus SILO climate data, critical for cooling intensive loads.

07

Competitive intelligence

Proximity and density against 189 mapped Australian data centre sites.

08

Satellite land assessment

Sentinel-2 NDVI / NDWI imagery to assess vegetation, water and developability of the land itself.

09

Connectivity intelligence

Internet exchange proximity, subsea cable landing stations and carrier density sourced from PeeringDB, so connectivity is priced into siting.

Data credibility

Every answer traces back to authoritative public data

Zyntax Arc doesn't guess. Each layer is built on official Australian and international datasets, so your site shortlists and your investment committee papers stand up to scrutiny.
